Basketball Recap: Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Wins Going Away Against New Ulm Cathedral

Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop won the last time they faced New Ulm Cathedral and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds put the hurt on the New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds with a sharp 64-41 win.

When it comes to explaining why New Ulm Cathedral lost, don't look at Brock Carlson. Despite the final result, he went 5-for-12 to rack up 10 points and eight boards. The dominant performance also gave Carlson a new career-high in assists (three). Eli Anderson was another key player, putting up eight points and six rebounds.

Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for New Ulm Cathedral, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 9-13.
