Harding University is 10-0 against Providence since February of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Harding University Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Providence Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Harding University focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Harding University really took it to Garinger for the full four quarters, racking up a 71-31 win on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-11.
Chase Bryson was the offensive standout of the game as he dropped a double-double on 22 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Harding University's points. Another player making a difference was AJ Jenkins, who scored 12 points along with 4 steals.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Providence beat Sun Valley 54-48 on Tuesday.
The losses dropped Harding University to 1-2 and Garinger to 0-4.
Everything came up roses for Harding University against Providence in their previous matchup back in February of 2021 as the squad secured a 85-56 victory. Does Harding University have another victory up their sleeve, or will Providence turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
