The Wardlaw Hartridge Rams waltzed into their game on Friday with five straight wins but they left with six. They walked away with a 29-19 win over Dunellen. That's two games straight that Wardlaw Hartridge has won by exactly ten points.
Despite the loss, Dunellen had strong showings from Brielle Villanueva-Jadotte, who scored four points along with 16 rebounds and two steals, and Wendy Woll, who scored five points along with eight rebounds and six steals. Villanueva-Jadotte is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games she's played.
Wardlaw Hartridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Dunellen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-5.
Wardlaw Hartridge will head out on the road to face off against South Amboy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Dunellen, they will be playing at home against Perth Amboy Vo-Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Perth Amboy Vo-Tech: 25.9, Dunellen: 28) so any points scored will be well earned.
