The Fairwinds Christian Knights pushed their score all the way to 59 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 67-59 to Faith Baptist School. Even though they lost, Fairwinds Christian's still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50.6 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaiden Rajis, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Clary, who scored 13 points.
Fairwinds Christian's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3. As for Faith Baptist School, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Fairwinds Christian will head out on the road to face off against Greenwood Mennonite at 6:30 p.m. on January 19th. Faith Baptist School won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Chestertown Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th.
