The Snook Bluejays managed to keep up with the Yorktown Wildcats until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Snook was outmatched by Yorktown on the road and fell 44-13. Snook just can't catch a break and has now endured four defeats in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Yorktown to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aidan Nunez, who rushed for 175 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. Nunez was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 53 yards. Aydan Joe was in the mix too, providing Yorktown with two touchdowns.
Snook's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 1-8. As for Yorktown, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
Snook will look to defend their home field on Friday against Louise at 7:00 p.m. Yorktown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
