Fannin County has been on the road for three straight, but  on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will host the Armuchee Indians  at 5:00  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

  Natalie Herendon made a splash no matter where she played. She  pitched  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in five consecutive pitching appearances. She was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
 In other batting news,  Callie Ensley was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing five bases while going 3-for-3. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last seven games she's  played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was  Makayla Stiles, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 1-for-1.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Fannin County was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .591. The last time their  batting average was this high was  back in September of 2023.
 Meanwhile, Armuchee waltzed into their game  on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victor by  a  15-8 margin over the Raiders.
 Like Fannin County, Armuchee also got a great game from a two-way player:  Aubrey McConkey. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out eight batters over  5.1 innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   six  hits. McConkey was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-5.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Emily Garrison, who  scored two  runs while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance gave her a new career- in  hits. Another player making a difference was  Tori Vitello, who  went 3-for-5 with two  runs, a  triple, and two  RBI.
 Fannin County pushed their record up to 9-1 with that  victory, which was their sixth straight  on the road. As for Armuchee, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last nine matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record  this season.
 Thursday's   contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Fannin County has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of 0.
