2A Greater St. Helens recap November 5, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in 2A Greater St. Helens this week, Mark Morris beat Long 28-21. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Monarchs.
Ridgefield fell to Aberdeen 52-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Nick Martin threw for 76 yards and 1 touchdown in the loss.
Long's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Lumberjacks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ryan Peerboom has thrown for 967 yards and 8 touchdowns this season, while Brady Hulings has 24 catches for 528 yards.
Hockinson made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,219 from 7,629. The improvement was largely due to a 27-14 victory over Washougal last week.
