Kentucky landed its second big-time commitment of the day by snatching five-star
P.J. Washington of
Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.).
The country's sixth-rated power forward and 15th overall recruit became the Wildcats' second pledge of the 2017 Class when Washington announced on ESPNU on Thursday night.
The 6-foot-8, 229-pound versatile forward poured in 16.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.9 blocks per game last season in piloting the Pilots to the
No. 16 spot in the Xcellent 25 rankings last season.
Washington's 7-2 wingspan and balanced skill set should make Kentucky head coach John Calipari extremely excited.
