The Clarke County Bulldogs will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the McIntosh Demons at 7:30 p.m. on December 21st. Both teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
On Tuesday, Clarke County made easy work of Choctaw County and carried off a 60-40 victory. The win was just what Clarke County needed coming off of a 76-45 loss in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, McIntosh entered their tilt with Citronelle with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. McIntosh was the clear victor by a 66-46 margin over Citronelle. Considering McIntosh has won six contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Clarke County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-8 record this season. As for McIntosh, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
Clarke County lost to McIntosh on the road by a decisive 66-49 margin when the teams last played back in November. Can Clarke County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
