Salem had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 21-14 victory over the Concord Crimson Tide. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Salem will challenge rival Alvirne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Concord is set to square off against their familiar foe Londonderry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
