Expect to see new names in new places when MaxPreps releases its final 2011 Top 100 update April 18.
Several seniors have raised their game this season, pushing for a revision of their national ranking. Some have been mainstays in the Top 100 since their sophomore year, others will be making their debut.
MaxPreps will roll out rankings and watch lists for the class of 2012 (May 2), 2013 (May 4) and 2014 (May 9) over the next 45 days.
Raising their game10 players set to climb in the national rankings after big senior seasons.Bradley Beal, Chaminade (St. Louis, Mo.)Current ranking: No. 5
Collegiate destination: Florida
Senior portfolio: On the heels of an MVP performance at the FIBA U17 World Championship in Germany last summer, Beal was special this winter. The do-it-all 6-foot-4 guard led the St. Louis area in scoring at 32.4 points per game and carried Chaminade to a 27-0 record and Top 10 national ranking before falling to
McCluer North (Florissant) in the Class 5 quarterfinals. While there isn't much room for upward mobility at No. 5, expect Beal to improve a spot or two.
Trevor Lacey, Butler (Huntsville, Ala.)

Trevor Lacey, Butler (Huntsville, Ala.)Current ranking: No. 22
College destination: Undecided
Senior portfolio: Butler head coach Jack Doss believes Lacey is the best high school basketball player in Alabama history, and it's hard to argue. The undecided 6-4 guard poured in 31.4 points per game this season while also recording 8.0 rebounds, 3.1 steals and 2.6 assists. Lacey led the Rebels to a 32-2 record and state title this winter and back-to-back state crowns in 2008 and 2009.
B.J. Young, McCluer North (Florissant, Mo.)Current ranking: No. 49
College destination: Arkansas
Senior portfolio: Young put a rocky high school career behind him, leading McCluer North to Missouri's Class 5 state title and tacking up 28.6 points per game. His signature performance came in the quarterfinals against Beal and Chaminade, helping erase a halftime deficit by exploding for 27 points in the second half of a 57-56 win.
Julien Lewis, La Marque (La Marque, Texas)Current ranking: No. 62
College destination: Texas
Senior portfolio: Lewis entered his senior season as the third wheel among Longhorn backcourt signees behind
Myck Kabongo and
Sheldon McClellan. The 6-3, 185-pound combo guard changed that by posting 25.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 2.6 assists per game while leading La Marque to a 33-5 record and Texas' Class 4A state title game.
Aaron Ross, Parkview (Little Rock, Ark.)Current ranking: No. 90
College destination: Arkansas
Senior portfolio: Head coach Danny Henderson of Texas 5A state champion
Marcus (Flower Mound) faced Ross at the Whataburger Tournament in December and stated he was the best player his team faced during a 40-game schedule this season. The 6-8, 220-pound forward went on to lead Parkview to a 27-5 record and 6A state title in Arkansas.
Ryan Anderson, Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, Calif.)Current ranking: NR
College destination: Boston College
Senior portfolio: Nobody raised their stock more this winter than Anderson. The 6-8, 215-pound future Boston College Eagle earned MVP honors at three December tournaments – all won by Poly. Despite a disappointing exit from California's Division I state playoffs, Anderson can hold his head high after tallying 16.4 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game for the 31-2 Jackrabbits.
Dwaun Anderson, Suttons Bay (Mich.)Current ranking: NR
College destination: Michigan State
Senior portfolio: Anderson bounced around the Top 100 during his sophomore and junior seasons, but dropped out after a quiet 2010 summer. That should change next month after being named Mr. Basketball in Michigan. The 6-3, 190-pounder played all five positions for Suttons Bay, averaging 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game.
Jacoby Brissett, Dwyer (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.)Current ranking: NR
College destination: Florida (football)
Senior portfolio: Given the demands of playing quarterback at the college level, there is a chance Brissett never plays a minute of college basketball. But that shouldn't prevent him from getting what rightfully deserves – a spot in the Top 100. The 6-4, 210-pound guard put up 15.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.0 assist per game for Florida's 5A state champions, who will participate in the National High School Invitational later this month.
Derrick Gordon, St. Patrick

Derrick Gordon, St. Patrick (Elizabeth, N.J.)Current ranking: NR
College destination: Western Kentucky
Senior portfolio: An athletic, active and hungry 6-2 guard, Gordon played a huge part in St. Patrick going 26-1 and holding down the No. 1 national ranking for much of the season. The future Hilltopper averaged 16 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists per game.
Cameron Forte, McClintock (Tempe, Ariz.)Current ranking: NR
College destination: Undecided
Senior portfolio: A 6-6 swingman, Forte put up mind-boggling numbers as a senior – 36.2 points and 12.7 rebounds per game. He topped the 40-point mark 10 times and poured in an incredible 60 points in an early January game. More than just a stat star, Forte helped the Chargers win a state title as a junior.
