Colfax-Mingo strolled past Martensdale-St. Mary's with points to spare last week, taking the matchup 41-23.
Wayne came within a touchdown against Cardinal, but wound up with a 26-40 loss.
Colfax-Mingo's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Wayne's defeat dropped them down to 1-1. We'll see if Colfax-Mingo's success rolls on or if Wayne are able to steal their positive momentum.
