The Coopersville Broncos will head out on the road to face off against the East Grand Rapids Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Coopersville is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.
Last Friday, Coopersville sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 24-21 win over Allendale.
Meanwhile, East Grand Rapids' game on Friday was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 17-7 win over Forest Hills Northern.
East Grand Rapids can attribute much of their success to Ian Mackeigan, who rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns.
Coopersville's win was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.2 points per game. As for East Grand Rapids, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
