Saucon Valley and Moravian Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2016, but not for long. The Saucon Valley Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Moravian Academy Lions at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Moravian Academy took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Saucon Valley, who comes in off a win.
Last Saturday, Saucon Valley was able to grind out a solid win over Jim Thorpe, taking the game 57-48.
Saucon Valley can attribute much of their success to Jack Robertson, who scored 22 points along with 5 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Robertson has scored at least 25% of Saucon Valley's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Constantine Donahue, who scored 6 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Moravian Academy came up short against Bangor on Tuesday and fell 52-42.
The losses dropped Saucon Valley to 2-1 and Jim Thorpe to 0-4.
Saucon Valley skirted past Moravian Academy 47-44 in their previous matchup back in January. Will Saucon Valley repeat their success, or does Moravian Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
