The Lakeridge Pacers and the Central Catholic Rams squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Lakeridge Pacers had to settle for second. Lakeridge was beaten by Central Catholic 42-6.
Gabriel Motschenbacher threw for 76 yards and a touchdown. Luke Womack was his top target, picking up 43 receiving yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Noah Tishendorf rushed for 30 yards.
Cru Newman was his usual excellent self, rushing for 89 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, while also throwing for 231 yards and three touchdowns. Newman was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 59 yards. Tyson Davis was in the mix as well, providing Central Catholic with two touchdowns.
Lakeridge's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Central Catholic, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Lakeridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Central Catholic will head out on the road to face off against West Linn on Friday. West Linn is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
