It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Brainerd ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past the Fergus Falls Otters 9-8. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Brainerd let Maverick Badeaux and Braxton Tautges run wild. Badeaux went 1-for-4 with three stolen bases and two runs, while Tautges went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Wilson, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Brainerd's win bumped their record up to 3-7-1. As for Fergus Falls, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brainerd will head out to take on Detroit Lakes at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fergus Falls, they will take on Little Falls at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
