Pleasant Home came into Monday's game having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Samson Tigers 10-9. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Pleasant Home's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Samson, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pleasant Home will head out to take on Straughn at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
