After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Reading Memorial, Pentucket Regional was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Triton Regional Vikings by a score of 13-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). Considering Pentucket Regional has won six contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Pentucket Regional is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Triton Regional, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pentucket Regional will challenge Hamilton-Wenham Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Triton Regional, they will venture away from home to square off against Ipswich at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
