The biggest upset of the week belonged to Centennial, who took down 36th ranked Brentwood, 31-20.
Fans got a thrill when Joe Critchlow and Luke Hill connected against Dickson County. The longest such play in AAA District 11 this season, the connection resulted in 61 yards.
Independence's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Caleb Hollis threw for 111 and 4 touchdowns and Deion Sims had 66 yards receiving. On the ground Daniel Wright contributed 99 yards. RaShaan Gaulden helped Independence's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 29 yards.

The Bruins' John Robertson rumbled for the longest rushing play in AAA District 11 this season in his game against the Cougars last week. Robertson scampered for 80 yards on the play and finished with 80 on the day as his team lost to Centennial.
