Lynden Christian had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Anacortes on Tuesday. The Lyncs were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Seahawks. The Lyncs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by ten runs or more this season.

Lynden Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Anacortes, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lynden Christian will head out to square off against Meridian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lyncs are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Anacortes, they will face off against Bellingham at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Seahawks will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: the Bayhawks will have lost 12 straight heading into Thursday's contest.
