The West Point-Beemer Cadets were the 45-43 winner over the Pierce Bluejays when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. West Point-Beemer fell 51-38 to Pierce on Tuesday.
Several Cadets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Campbell Snodgrass, who scored 15 points along with two steals. Mia Hunke was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds and four blocks.
West Point-Beemer now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Pierce, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
West Point-Beemer will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Madison on February 6th. As for Pierce, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Crofton. Crofton is looking to tack on another W to their seven-game streak on the road.
