Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wossman). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Grant Cougars 73-36. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked 97th, while the Cougars are ranked 221st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wossman now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Grant, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Wossman will take on rival West Ouachita at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Grant is set to challenge their familiar foe Franklin Parish at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
