DME Academy Gold's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell 44-33 to Flagler Palm Coast.
Caumarion Lang was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jameer Clark, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
DME Academy Gold's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Flagler Palm Coast, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DME Academy Gold will take on Vine Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flagler Palm Coast, they will be playing at home against Matanzas at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Henry Robinson Jr. and Clark.
