RHAM took down Fermi 44-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Mike Luby ran for 132 yards and caught one passes for nine yards in the win.
The Sachems led Central Connecticut II East in scoring this week after putting up 44 points on the Falcons. Luby in the win.
Zack DeCaro put up the best numbers through the air as Wethersfield lost to Hartford Public. He finished with a total of 14 completions for 143 yards and one touchdown. DeCaro's favorite target this week was Kevin Premto, who caught five passes for 52 yards.
Baylor LaPointe made the biggest impact on defense this week as RHAM defeated Fermi. The 6-foot-3 senior forced one fumble.
Frank Kusta was the best wideout in the league this week as Joseph Tata Jr.'s team fell to Tom Hammon's team. Kusta tallied eight receptions for 63 yards. Bailey Raymond helped Fermi's passing attack out by catching four balls for 55 yards.
Thanks to the talents of DeCaro and Ivan Mangual the Eagles have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. DeCaro leads the league in passing with 806 yards, while Mangual has rushed for 416 yards this season. The Falcons' Raymond leads the league in receiving yards with 342 on 21 catches.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Wethersfield takes on Bulkeley. John Campanello's team is currently in second, while the Bulldogs are in fourth.
The Owls made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,913 from 7,775. The improvement came about via a 40-14 victory over the Eagles last week.
