Murrieta Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brady Jones led the charge by dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Collin Ingram, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Chaminade's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 17-12. As for Murrieta Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season.
Friday's contest is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: Chaminade have been dynamite from deep this season, having made 40.1% of their threes per game. However, it's not like Murrieta Valley struggles in that department as they've made 44.5% of their threes this season.
