The Harnett Central Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Westover 58-0. Harnett Central has struggled against the Wolverines recently, as their game on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Westover got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Princess Canady out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Canady has scored all season. Rmani Robinson was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Harnett Central has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Westover, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.
Harnett Central will head out on the road to challenge the Golden Bulls at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. E.E. Smith knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully the Trojans likes a good challenge. As for Westover, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. Triton and the Wolverines are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads.
