 Meanwhile, Berea was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They lost  5-0 to Daniel. While losing is never fun, Berea can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 129th, while Daniel are ranked 33rd).
 Travelers Rest's win bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Berea, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
 Travelers Rest beat Berea by a goal  when the teams last played  on April 4th, winning  1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Devildogs since the  squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
