Grove Christian School can attribute much of their success to Jacob Garrison, who scored 21 points along with 7 assists and 3 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Garrison has scored at least 25% of Grove Christian School's points. Another player making a difference was Merrick Baron, who scored 13 points.
Yeshiva of Virginia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Grove Christian School, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Yeshiva of Virginia will look to defend their home court on Monday against Farmville Homeschool at 7:15 p.m. As for Grove Christian School, they will head out on the road to face off against Guardian Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
