Fernley strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 59-51 win over the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions.

Jayvion Wall and Aiden Reed certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Wall posted 20 points, while Reed put up 14 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks. That was a full 39.2% of Sierra Vista's points, marking the third time in a row Wall has scored more than a third of the team's points. Tristin Porter was another key player, putting up eight points.

Fernley's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Sierra Vista, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Fernley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-63 loss against Mojave on the 6th. As for Sierra Vista, they have also already played their next game, a 43-32 win against Somerset Sky Pointe on the 6th.
