Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Linden). They took down the Choctaw County Tigers 50-33 on Wednesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Patriots as it put an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Choctaw County's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Nehemiah Adams, who posted eight points in addition to nine boards and four steals, and Jarrod Chaney, who put up eight points along with six boards and three steals. Chaney is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last five games he's played.

Linden's win ended an 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-3. As for Choctaw County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Linden will have a chance to go back-to-back against Choctaw County: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
