Mercedes has gone a perfect 3-0 against Roma recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Tigers will host the Gladiators at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Mercedes' favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last seven contests.
On Friday, Mercedes took their game with ease, bagging a 56-6 victory over Pace. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Diego Bravo produced another solid performance rushing for 86 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also throwing for 191 yards and two TDs while completing 90% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (168.8). Another player making a difference was Robert Sanchez, who rushed for 79 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Mercedes was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 294 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 185 rushing yards in nine consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Roma, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They blew past Alice 48-21 on Friday. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Gladiators had established a 24-point advantage.
Roma didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ahmed Guerra and Yahir Alexander Torres. Guerra is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last five games he's played.
Mercedes' record is now 10-0. As for Roma, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Mercedes has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 284 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Roma struggles in that department as they've been averaging 342.4 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Mercedes against Roma when the teams last played back in September of 2021, as the team secured a 69-21 win. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Gladiators have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
