Tuff Street Crosses Big Stat Threshold
LaSalle was led to victory by Tuff Street, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Street rushed for 185 yards and five touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also threw for 20 yards and a touchdown. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (108.7) per game. His passing game has become a key predictor of LaSalle's success: the team is 2-1 when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise.
The victory (which was LaSalle's third in a row) raised their record to 3-3. Street and LaSalle will head out to square off against Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
