Glenelg extended their winning streak to six on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 12-3 in the process. They had just enough and edged out the Middletown Knights 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Gladiators have posted since April 8th.
As for Middletown, they dropped their record down to 4-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. The loss was just more heartbreak for they who fell 4-2 when the teams previously met back in May of 2023.
For Middletown's part, Addy Lowery made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Grace Torano-Conway also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
