Bonham is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will host the Sanger Indians at 1:00 p.m. Bonham will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
Last Friday, Bonham made easy work of Paris and carried off a 21-1 victory. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by seven runs or more this season.

Bonham got a massive performance out of Haley Capehart, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance gave Capehart a new career-high in RBI. Another player making a difference was Alayna Laisy, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.
Bonham was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .588. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Sanger posted their closest win since February 13th on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 victory over Memorial. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.
Vivy Lynch was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalilah Millan, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Bonham is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6-1 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to hits: they averaged an imposing 8.86 hits in those games compared to only 3.43 in the others. Sanger's win bumped their record up to 7-5-4.
Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Bonham has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .528. However, it's not like Sanger struggles in that department as they've averaged .450. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Bonham took their victory against Sanger in their previous meeting back in February of 2019 by a conclusive 15-1. Will Bonham repeat their success, or does Sanger have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
