Softball Recap: Ludlow Wins Going Away Against Chicopee

Ludlow won the last time they faced Chicopee and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lions put the hurt on the Pacers with a sharp 13-7 victory. The matchup marked the Lions' most dominant win of the season so far.

Kylie Roach was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. Roach was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Caitlyn Peczka, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Liberty Carlson was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.
