Western Reserve is 8-2 against St. Paul since February of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Western Reserve Roughriders will head out on the road to face off against the St. Paul Flyers at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
The third road matchup was the charm for Western Reserve, as they earned their first road win of the season. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past South Central 56-53.
Meanwhile, St. Paul sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 62-59 victory over Mapleton on Friday. The win was just what St. Paul needed coming off of a 73-40 defeat in their prior match.
The win got Western Reserve back to even at 2-2. As for St. Paul, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.
Western Reserve beat St. Paul 70-63 in their previous meeting back in January. Will Western Reserve repeat their success, or does St. Paul have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
