Ryan Mason, O'Connor's leading hitter, solidified his role on Thursday. Mason was dialed in as he scored two runs while going 4-for-5. He was up against Harlan and has quite the history against that squad, as he also had a great game the last time he faced them back in February of 2024. O'Connor is undefeated when Mason posts two or more runs, but 3-6 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Mason and O'Connor will head out to face off against Brennan at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Bears thanks in part to Mason: he struck out 13 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk).
