The Seeger Patriots can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They came out on top against Fountain Central by a score of 46-34. This was payback for Seeger, who suffered a 47-41 loss the last time these two teams met.
Seeger was led to victory by Christian Holland and cameron laws. Holland scored 15 points, while laws scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points laws has scored all season. Hunter Thomas was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aiden Owen, who scored three points along with two steals.
Seeger's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Fountain Central, their loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 6-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seeger will take on Attica at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Attica is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak. As for Fountain Central, Fountain Central and Crawfordsville will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Crawfordsville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Saturday.
