Deposit-Hancock is 1-7 against Bainbridge-Guilford since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Deposit-Hancock will head out on the road to face off against the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Deposit-Hancock had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a serious blow against Walton, falling 42-11. Deposit-Hancock has not had much luck with Walton recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Meanwhile, Bainbridge-Guilford came up short against Edmeston Central on Saturday and fell 47-37.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Marissa Mayo, who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds. Mayo is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Peyton Umbra, who scored 11 points along with 3 steals.
Deposit-Hancock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Bainbridge-Guilford, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Deposit-Hancock took a serious blow against Bainbridge-Guilford in their previous matchup back in January, falling 74-32.
