With a playoff win on the line, Bloomington South rose to the challenge on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Mooresville Pioneers. Considering Bloomington South have won nine contests by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the eighth in a row for Bloomington South, bringing their record up to 15-1-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those eight matches. As for Mooresville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10-2 record this season.

Bloomington South didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against Whiteland on the 15th. Mooresville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
