Redbank Valley scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took an 89-81 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Karns City Gremlins. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (57), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

Redbank Valley's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2. As for Karns City, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Redbank Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rocky Grove at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Karns City and Franklin will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th. Karns City has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
