Riverdale Ridge came into Thursday's matchup looking for another win against Boulder, but Tshinciao Spaeth Marulanda wouldn't allow it. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Ravens 3-2 for which the team can thank Spaeth Marulanda, who had 29 digs and two aces. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 14 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (108-98) Boulder actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23, 15-25, 18-25, 15-13.

When it comes to explaining why Riverdale Ridge lost on Thursday, don't look at Riley Lo. Despite the final result, he had 25 assists and 11 digs.

Boulder's win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Riverdale Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season.

Boulder does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverdale Ridge, they will take on Niwot at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Ravens are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
