The Watertown Tigers will challenge the Stone Memorial Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Watertown sitting on 11 straight victories and Stone Memorial on five.
It was a proper cat-fight when Watertown faced off against Livingston Academy on Monday. The Tigers walked away with a 7-2 win over the Wildcats.

The team relied heavily on Alyssa Wood, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, two stolen bases, and two runs. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Rachel Seabern was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
The home team had won the previous six meetings between Stone Memorial and DeKalb County, and Stone Memorial kept the tradition alive. The Panthers put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 15-5 victory on Monday. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by seven runs or more this season.
Kenzie Jackson was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 20 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.
In other batting news, Alexis Jackson was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Cadence Cox, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.
Stone Memorial always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. They are a perfect 14-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Stone Memorial's win bumped their record up to 19-6-1. As for Watertown, their victory bumped their record up to 21-9.
