The Upper Dauphin Area Trojans will venture away from home to take on the Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy WolfPack at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Upper Dauphin Area is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.
Upper Dauphin Area barely beat Greenwood the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans blew past the Wildcats 7-1 on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

Colt Bellis was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Upper Dauphin Area's success: when he posts at least three hits the team is 2-1 (and 5-8 when he doesn't). Isaac Jackson also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.
They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Upper Dauphin Area lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in May of 2024.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy). They walked away with a 16-12 win over Line Mountain on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the WolfPack considering their one-run performance the match before.
Cameron Guss was a standout: he went 2-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Charles Ramos, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy moved to 4-8 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Upper Dauphin Area, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Upper Dauphin Area has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Upper Dauphin Area was able to grind out a solid victory over Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy in their previous matchup on April 4th, winning 7-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
