The Aberdeen Bobcats pushed their score all the way to 57 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 73-57 bruising from WF West. Aberdeen has struggled against the Bearcats recently, as their contest on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Aberdeen lost, one person who can't be blamed is Baylor Ainsworth. Despite the final result, he scored 27 points. Jhacob Quezada was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
WF West's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lucas Hoff led the charge by scoring 19 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hoff has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Klatush, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine assists.
Aberdeen's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for WF West, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-6.
Aberdeen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. WF West will head out on the road to challenge the Highclimbers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
