Bluff Dale simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Throckmorton 46-0 on the road. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bobcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Eli Cashion was a one-man wrecking crew for Bluff Dale as he rushed for 77 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 41 receiving yards and a touchdown. Another back making a difference was Austin Saucedo, who rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown.
Saucedo wasn't the only one working in the rushing yards department: Bluff Dale was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 266 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2023.
Bluff Dale wouldn't let Throckmorton keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force four fumbles. Saucedo led the group effort, picking up two of those forced fumbles all by himself.
