On the hitting side, Bonita Vista let Aryanna Salazar and Danica Aboytes run wild. Salazar went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double, while Aboytes went 3-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI Aboytes has posted since back in March of 2024. Sabrina Perez was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Bonita Vista was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .421. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Santana only posted a batting average of .160.
Bonita Vista has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Academy of Our Lady of Peace, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. Academy of Our Lady of Peace hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.7 home runs per game. However, it's not like Bonita Vista struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.5 home runs.
