Pigeon Forge have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Cumberland County on the road at 6:30 PM on Friday. Pigeon Forge is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.
Two weeks ago, Pigeon Forge were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 3-8 to Grainger.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 3-41, which was the final score in Cumberland County's tilt against Livingston Academy last week. Cumberland County were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 3-34.
The losses dropped Pigeon Forge to 0-2 and Cumberland County 0-3. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
