It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Peak to Peak ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Delta Panthers 13-11. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pumas.

Cooper Campbell made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his six plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Dane Hirt, who scored three runs and stole five bases while going 4-for-5. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Owen Branscum was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-5.

Peak to Peak kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Delta only managed seven hits.

Peak to Peak now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Delta, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Peak to Peak wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 11-1 victory against La Junta on the 5th. As for Delta, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-4 defeat against Eaton on the 5th.
