Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayce Parsons, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds. That's the first time this season that Parsons scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Easton Frederick, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-12. As for Cerro Gordo/Bement, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond will square off against Argenta-Oreana at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cerro Gordo/Bement is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Sullivan at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th.
